Vivo is the official partner for EURO 2020 and it has a message for you – put down your phone and enjoy the moment. It’s a bit of an odd message from a company that sells phones, but the sentiment is good.
“We strive not only to help people capture and share life’s magical moments, but to make every moment in life more magical,” said Spark Ni, Senior Vice President and CMO of vivo.
The advertising campaign goes live today with the message “give your phone a break and be there for life’s beautiful moments”. It will air on TV in Europe, the Middle East, Southeast Asia and China, as well as globally on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube.
Vivo is the presenting partner for the opening and closing ceremonies, which will take place on June 11 and July 11, respectively. However, stadiums will operate with limited attendance, so vivo and UEFA have created the #vivoSuperTime campaign, which will allow fans to applause and cheer on social media.
The company looks at this as an opportunity to connect with its growing user base of over 400 million users globally and to reach new fans.
