Samsung has announced that it ranked fourth among 150 companies worldwide in 2021 in terms of digital inclusion. The rating was calculated by WBA (World Benchmarking Alliance), and Samsung’s ranking improved from tenth in 2020 to fourth in 2021.

The South Korean firm was recognized for its efforts to be digitally responsible. Samsung recently established ethics and social principles for its AI (Artificial Intelligence) technologies. The company has also started including accessibility features in various product categories, including home appliances, smartphones, and TVs. The WBA recognized Samsung’s SeeColors app that allows people with CVD (Color Vision Deficiency) to enjoy a better viewing experience on Samsung TVs by adjusting colors.

The company’s C-Lab Outside program in South Korea, designed to help grow the startup ecosystem, was also praised for its social contribution activities.
