Samsung has released the April 2022 security update to the Galaxy S10 Lite in the US. The update is rolling out to the carrier-unlocked variant of the smartphone. The international version of the device received the same security update last week.

The latest software update for the Galaxy S10 Lite’s US unlocked variant comes with firmware version G770U1UES6EVD3. It includes the April 2022 security patch that fixes over 88 privacy and security vulnerabilities. With its new update, Samsung might have included general bug fixes and device stability improvements.

If you are a Galaxy S10 Lite user in the US, you can now download and install the new software update by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. You can also download the latest firmware file from our database and flash it manually.

Samsung had launched the Galaxy S10 Lite in early 2020 with Android 10 on board. The phone received the Android 11-based One UI 3 update in early 2021 and the Android 12-based One UI 4 update a few weeks ago.
