The Pixel 6A will be available in a lot more countries as compared to the Pixel 5A. You can check out this official list and see if your country will get the Pixel 6A or not. There is 5G as well, but not the mmWave 5G. The phone will go up against Samsung Galaxy A53 5G.
Galaxy A53 5G outperforms the Pixel 6A in every way that matters
For the sake of comparison, the Galaxy A53 5G comes with a 6.5-inch OLED 1080p 120Hz display and features an under-display fingerprint sensor like the Pixel 6A, a 5,000 mAh battery, and a 32MP selfie camera, a 64MP primary camera with 12MP ultrawide and a 5MP macro camera. The Galaxy A53 5G is powered by the Exynos 1280 SoC and comes with 6GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage. The Galaxy A53 5G does come with microSD support that the Pixel 6A misses out on.
So, on almost all fronts, the Galaxy A53 5G takes the lead against the Google Pixel 6A. Both have the Android 12 operating system out of the box, an IP67 rating, and a $449 price tag. It will be interesting to see how the Pixel 6A fairs out since there are a good number of competitors already on the market.
