The Indian Realme 7i joined the Early Access program for Realme UI 2.0 in February, and three months later the final update is seeding. Reports from the brand’s community forums revealed the user interface, based on Android 11, is 801 MB in size under the name RMX2103_11_C.05.
There are a lot of new features and plenty of improvements, but key optimizations include a better Dark Mode and Optimized Night Charging that uses an AI algorithm to control charging speed at night to extend the 5,000 mAh battery’s life.
In terms of security and privacy, Realme UI 2.0 brings System Cloner to the Realme 7i – this allows users to have different accounts with different fingerprints to operate different accounts. There’s a toggle in Quick Settings for App Lock, and Realme has implemented Android’s feature to allow permissions only once.
