It sure took some time but Redmi finally brought the Note 10 Pro to its home market. The big difference with the international variant comes in the chipset department where we find MediaTek’s Dimensity 1100. The Chinese version also offers faster charging and a better-protected display with a slightly altered back design and camera island.
There’s a change in the display as well, the new Chinese Note 10 Pro gets a 6.67-inch LCD panel which again refreshes at 120Hz. The display features Gorilla Glass Victus protection in place of the Gorilla Glass 5 on the international variant. The stereo speakers are tuned by JBL.
The Dimensity 1100 is paiрed with 6GB or 8GB RAM and 128/256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The camera setup features a 64MP main shooter backed by an 8MP ultrawide snapper and a 2MP depth helper.
The battery comes with a 5,000mAh capacity but doubles the charging speeds to 67W with the included power brick in the box. You get MIUI 12.5 with Android 11 on the software front. Color options include black, white and blue.
Pricing starts at CNY 1,499 ($234) for the 6/128 GB model. There’s an 8/128 GB option for CNY 1,799 ($281) as well as an 8/256 GB trim for CNY 1,999 ($312). First sales in China are set for June 1.
