Microsoft Surface Duo
Microsoft’s flagship two-screen phone is the product of two long-term projects. On the software side, it’s the pinnacle of Microsoft’s long undertaking to abandon making its own mobile operating system and instead integrate its suite of various services — Word, Outlook, OneNote — seamlessly into Google’s Android. On the hardware side, it’s the culmination of the hard-fought journey to produce a line of Microsoft-made computers that rival Apple in fit and finish and fit Windows 10 into a slick and distinct physical form. The result? The Duo is on the bleeding edge of dual-screen Android technology.

Apple iPhone SE
The handset brings a 4.7-inch Retina HD display with glass and aluminium design. It sports a single 12-megapixel camera sensor at the back and a 7-megapixel FaceTime camera with 1080p recording capability support. It has a Touch ID, much like old iPhone models.
Riding the show underneath is the A13 Bionic chipset, the same that powers the iPhone 11, 11 Pro and the 11 Pro Max.
The iPhone SE 2020 also comes with IP67 certification for water resistance and can survive a depth of up to 1 meter for up to 30 minutes.
Belkin Wemo WiFi Smart Plug
A smart plug is an easy way to get hands-free or app-enabled control of devices and appliances in your home — and installation is typically simple, to boot. The smart plug should fit most regular outlets, connects to your Wi-Fi network and then lets you plug your gadget of choice — whether smart or not — into it. That’s it: Now you can communicate with the smart plug to turn on or off anything, from sunrise clocks to fans or humidifiers, through smartphone apps or smart assistants like Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.

Mophie UV sanitizer
One of the ways to sanitize objects such as cell phones is through the use of UV-C light. There are three main classifications of ultraviolet light based on their wavelength. UV-A and UV-B cause sunburns and skin cancer and are found in sunlight. However, UV-C, which has the smallest wavelength and is the most damaging, is completely absorbed by the Earth’s atmosphere. UV-C light kills bacteria by affecting its RNA or DNA. The Mophie UV Sanitizer is a device into which a phone or other objects up to 6.9 inches in length can be placed and uses UV-C light to kill up to 99.99% of common surface bacteria on non-porous surfaces. In addition, the Mophie UV Sanitizer can also wirelessly charge cell phones which have this feature. The unit sells for $79.99 and can be purchased from zagg.com as well as from Verizon.
LG’s screen-swiveling Wing was one of the most interesting looking smartphones of 2020, but its unique design was held back by poor software support. A new software update, out today for the Verizon-exclusive device, looks to help address those issues by adding some new dual-screen functionality.
Specifically, Droid Life reports that the new update makes it much easier to send apps to and from the smaller display to the main one (a process that previously involved some convoluted menu wrangling.) With the new update, there’s now a “send” button that shuttle apps from one display to the other, along with a “restart” button to relaunch apps that transition over poorly. You can also use a third-finger gesture to accomplish a similar task. Finally, LG has added app names to the homescreen when the phone is swiveled open, making it better resemble the standard Android homescreen.
